E-learning Innovations Workshop

Ken, Kane and Fletch at the workshop - clearly taking it hard.
I'm sitting in the Oaks on Market with a bunch of about 50 folks from different TAFEs and community providers and universities and even a couple of private providers. The team from eWorks are doing a fantastic job of getting us all in the picture about these projects.
Ken, Kane and Fletch picked me up from my place yesterday, and along with Lori, Kane's friend and our SmartBoard expert from Woolsthorpe Primary School, we loped across country and found ourselves in the big smoke not long after dundown. A pleasant dinner at a South Bank restaurant, and it was back to the Oaks for ... an early night? A bottle of scotch and a big fat cigar? Nooooo....! Fletch and I settled down to a heavy session of getting me up to speed on roofing calculations!

The sessions so far have been very useful. Clint, Howard and Ken have all given very useful presentations - noticably using linked Word documents instead of Powerpoints for some of the content. We got a bunch of brochures and a CD at the start.
